La reforma reciente en materia de seguridad social en Argentina. Una llamada de atención para México

Abstract

La experiencia argentina en materia de pensiones permite constatar que con su privatización no se trata de disminuir el nivel de endeudamiento de los gobiernos, sino que lo que se hace es financiar los déficit que produce el propio sistema de las cuentas individuales que debe ser sostenido por los gobiernos de los países con sistemas de contribución definida, lo que permite ya suponer que es incomparablemente mayor que el que producía el sistema de reparto. Esto originó una contrarreforma al sistema privatizado años atrás.

Abstract: The Argentinean experience in pensions shows that the point of its privatization is not to reduce the governments’ debt level, but to finance the deficits produced by the individual account system, which should be paid by the governments of the countries where defined contribution systems have been implemented. This suggests that it is incomparably larger than the one produced by the sharing out. This led to a counter-reform of the system privatized years ago.
